The Sussex Star is generally a lovely gentle bird with a steady temperament. Quite easy to handle. Their striking looks with the black neck and white body stand out beautifully on the grass. Bred over generations, they originate from the Rhode Island White and the Light Sussex.

Eggs – They lay a large cream-colored egg and their laying capacity is generally between 260 – 280 eggs in their first year of lay.
