The Needwood Partridge is a stiking bird, which looks very similar to a Welsummer. But unlike the Welsummer these birds lay a white or tinted egg. These birds, although leghorn based, have been bred to be a stockier and calmer bird.

Temperament –  Steady, freindly, proud.

Eggs – They are a layer of white or tinted eggs and can lay up to approximately 250 – 280 in their first year of lay.
