Cheshire Blue -
The Cheshire Blue Pullet is produced exclusively by Creag Mhor Poultry. They began breeding the Cheshire Blue in 2011 due to feedback from customers who were not satisfied with the egg colour of other available blue egg-layers. The Cheshire Blue has been found to lay a consistent sky-blue egg and is expected to lay in the region of 280 medium-large eggs per year. The bird is predominantly white with spots of dark blue with a crest and rarely goes broody. Small in stature.
Temperament – Lively breed, inquisitive, fast
Eggs – They are a layer of sky blue eggs and can lay up to approximately 280 in their first year of lay.
