Geese are my favourites, they have such great personalities!! There are so many great things to say about geese, they are very easy to tame, especially if you have them from goslings as they tend to imprint on humans.

They are very easy to look after, they graze all day and just need to be kept safe a night, an old shed would do the job. You don’t have to feed them very much as their main diet is grass, and who needs a lawnmower when they can eat up to 1kg of grass per goose per day.

You may not get huge amounts of eggs a year but they make up for it in size, a goose egg is the equivalent of 3 hen eggs.
